Howard Webb visited Plymouth
on the 27th March at Plymouth Argyle FC. The evening was well attended by referees from across the county.
Howard talked about what
is expected from referees at his level, he also gave us an insight into his upcoming Euro 2008 appointment.
The main talking point was
based upon his experience in last years Carling Cup Final between Arsenal and Chelsea
which ended with a mass confrontation.
Howard told us what was going
through his head at the time of the incident, how he felt whilst issuing cards and also his thoughts on the game itself.
This visit from one of our
top officials in the country proves that refereeing in this part of the world is being noticed.
This is supported by the
visit of Dermot Gallagher (Ex FIFA and Premier League Official) who is also at Plymouth Argyle on the 3rd April
at 7.30pm.
All are welcome and we hope that it is again well
attended by the county as a whole!
